This policy describes how Qlime Research LLC (“we,” “us”) handles personal information for the TapeSight product at tapesight.com and related apps.
Who we are
TapeSight is published by Qlime Research LLC. Privacy questions: support@tapesight.com or hello@tapesight.com.
Information we collect
- Account email and authentication identifiers (via our sign-in provider)
- Subscription and billing status (via Stripe for paid plans)
- API key identifiers we store as hashes (the raw secret is shown once and not kept)
- Support messages you send by email or Telegram bot
- Basic technical logs needed to run and secure the Service
What we do not collect by default
- Brokerage login credentials
- Your portfolio holdings (unless you volunteer them in a support message)
How we use information
We use this information to create and secure your account, deliver signals and history downloads, process founding or paid access, send service-related messages, and improve reliability and abuse prevention.
Service providers
We use third parties to operate TapeSight, including:
- Authentication / account (currently Clerk)
- Payments (Stripe)
- Website hosting (Netlify)
- Application database hosting (Turso)
- Telegram (if you use the bot or private channel)
Those providers process data under their own terms and policies.
Cookies and similar technology
We use cookies and similar technology as needed for sign-in sessions and core site function. We do not currently run a separate advertising cookie stack. Stripe and our auth provider may set their own cookies when you use checkout or sign-in.
Retention and requests
We keep account and subscription records as long as your account is active and as needed for security, billing, and legal obligations. To request access or deletion, email support@tapesight.com.
Children
The Service is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be emailed to the address on your account.
