Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Qlime Research LLC (“Qlime,” “we,” “us”), operating the TapeSight product (“TapeSight,” the “Service”) at tapesight.com and related apps, APIs, and messaging surfaces.

By creating an account, completing checkout, accessing the subscriber dashboard, using an API key, joining the private Telegram channel, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Risk Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Plain-English summary

TapeSight is a data publisher: the same BuyTrend-On / BuyTrend-Run / BuyTrend-Off list for everyone. We are not your broker, investment adviser, or money manager. You decide whether and how to trade. One seat per subscription. Do not resell or reshare the feed. Pay via Stripe; cancel before the next charge to avoid it. Service is provided as-is; markets can lose money.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service for a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. The Service

TapeSight provides systematic signal data derived from market activity on a defined list of stocks (described on the How it Works page). Outputs are impersonal BuyTrend-On, BuyTrend-Run, and BuyTrend-Off states, each tied to an as-of date (the completed trading day the signal refers to).

Every subscriber entitled to the Service receives the same signal list for a given as-of date. We do not customize signals to your account, risk tolerance, tax situation, or holdings.

Nothing in the Service is investment, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Qlime Research LLC provides a software and data publishing service. We do not hold or custody your funds or securities; execute trades for you; act as a broker, exchange, or clearing firm; or manage portfolios or make discretionary investment decisions for you under these Terms.

The Service does not publish target prices, stop losses, dollar amounts to trade, leverage guidance, or “trade this size” instructions.

Downloadable history on the Service is intended to provide BuyTrend-On / BuyTrend-Run / BuyTrend-Off signal rows under the published rule for roughly the prior year through the present — signal states only, not prices, fills, or theoretical returns. Historical signals do not guarantee future outcomes.

3. Accounts, access, and one seat

You must keep your account information accurate. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account.

A subscription or founding entitlement is for you personally (or one named seat for an entity). You may not share login credentials or API keys; forward, scrape, or redistribute Telegram channel content to non-subscribers; or resell, sublicense, or redistribute TapeSight signals. We may revoke API keys, change Telegram invites, terminate access, and refuse future service if we reasonably suspect abuse.

API secrets are shown once at creation. Store them securely. If lost, rotate or revoke and create a new key.

The private Telegram channel is one-way broadcast. Channel invites may change after cancel or if we reasonably suspect unauthorized sharing of the invite or channel content. Bot direct messages are for access help and human support — not personalized trading advice from us.

4. Plans, founding access, and billing

Paid plans and prices are shown at checkout (for example $45 per month or $450 per year). A limited number of founding seats may be offered at a discounted first-year annual price (currently $299 for year one, then the standard annual price). Founding and paid plans use Stripe checkout.

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Fees are charged in advance for each billing period (month or year), not after the period ends. You authorize Stripe to charge your payment method when each paid period begins, and for renewals until you cancel.

Monthly and annual checkouts may include a free trial (currently 14 days). We collect a payment method at checkout. No subscription fee is charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged for the first paid period. If you do not cancel, Stripe charges the selected plan when the trial ends, then renews until you cancel. Founding Year-1 checkout is charged at the founding price (no separate free trial). If website marketing and the checkout page ever differ, the checkout page and Stripe invoices control.

You may cancel through the Stripe billing management flow we provide. Cancel takes effect at the end of the current period. You keep access until that period ends. We do not refund or credit unused days of a period already paid, except where required by law or we expressly offer a refund. Fees are non-refundable once a paid period has been charged, except as required by law or as we state in writing.

If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend paid features and cancel the subscription. API keys and Telegram access may be revoked when you no longer have an active paid subscription or free trial.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes; attempt unauthorized access; overwhelm the API or scrape the dashboard in a way that degrades the Service; misrepresent TapeSight outputs as personalized advice from Qlime; reverse engineer except as allowed by law; or use bots to create fake accounts or exhaust founding slots.

6. Intellectual property

TapeSight, Qlime Research LLC names and marks, site design, software, and signal compilations are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service while your account is in good standing. You may not republish the daily list or use our feeds to build a competing public product.

7. Availability; as-is; no performance warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that signals will be accurate, complete, timely, or profitable, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QLIME RESEARCH LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR MISSED OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.

9. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Qlime Research LLC against claims arising from your use of the Service, your trading decisions, your redistribution of signals, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, abuse, legal risk, or Service shutdown. You may cancel paid subscriptions through the billing flow; access continues through the current period unless we state otherwise. On termination we may revoke API keys and Telegram access.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be emailed. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where law requires affirmative consent.

13. Entire agreement

These Terms and the Risk Disclaimer are the entire agreement regarding the Service, together with our Privacy Policy. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
